Thinking of you - patterned occasions washing line

This is Pinterest Tuesday!
On Tuesday's I select a card I have admired on, or been inspired by,  from pinterest and create my own version.
I am going do this every week. Might get a week behind at times but it is a great motivator to put your own spin on a great card idea or layout.

Heather's card has the textured sky background and a few layers of grass in the foreground and the patterned occasions jeans stamps hanging on a clothes line.

I simplified the design a bit and used trees instead of clouds to hang my linen thread line on.

When I  CASE (that's copy and share everything - the card makers motto) I generally do it by memory, so some of the elements get changed around and interpreted rather than copied.

I have put the "Bloomin' Marvellous" flower and butterflies in my grass instead of a ribbon and "thinking of you" on a cloud instead of on the line.

I am happy how it came out, now if only this rain would clear up so I can get MY line full of washing dry!

This layout speaks to my need for balance and colour.

This card features four Sale-a-bration products.

The stampsets: Bloomin' Marvellous and  Pretty Petites and the matching curly label punch.

Not to mention that lovely Vine street embossing folder on the background cardstock.

This and the next card are really easy to make - ink, stamp, punch and stick them on.

Here's the second card - even a little simpler in colours and punching!

Two square punches and a piece of the SAB ribbon in Island Indigo.

My bird is rocked in both Pool party and Island Indigo inks while the butterfly is in Summer starfruit and Island Indigo.

It's bloomin' marvellous this Sale-a-bration!

From 22 Jan to 22 March we will be Sale-a-brating! it is Stampin'up!s biggest sale of the year where we thank our customers, hostess' and new demonstrators with free gifts.

My card shows just one stampset from the gifts on offer. Called Bloomin' Marvellous it has words and picture stamps.

On this card is an oval of new Designer series paper from the Sycamore street paper pack with fantastic bright summery colours of Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, Summer starfruit, Pool Party and Calypso Coral.

I have also featured the newest embossing folder on the sale-a-bration gift list called "Vine street".
