Birthday card in three pinks

I had a sweet little girl in mind when I made this card. So I chose my favourite three pinks:
Melon Mambo, Pixie Pink and Rose Red.
The stampset used for the animals is "Animal Stories" you might be seeing a lot more of this stampset in the next year ... that's a big hint regarding the new catalogue coming out next month.
I stamped in all the images in Melon Mambo.
The birthday cake is a single stamp from the A la Carte selection.
I've used two punches here, the circle punch to cut out the cake and the circle scallop punch to cut out the pixie pink cardstock.

There are a few new stamps used here but they are just a sneak peek of whats in store ...
This one is pretty obvious - A brand new sentiment set: and it fits beautifully into the wide Oval punch.
I've put it up on dimensionals and made a bow under the oval with the Melon Mambo ribbon (RETIRING) this gorgous polka dot ribbon is going ... after 31 August.
Thats it your first sneak peek of some of the new and returning stampsets.
Send me an email if you are needing any of those last chance specials.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STAMPING JOY!!

Can you believe that I have been blogging now for 1 year ... and written 236 blog posts during that time.
So to celebrate I am offering you the presents!!!
It has been not exactly what I expected, but then I am not sure what any one expects when they embark on a new "business". What I have enjoyed most is the creativity that I have been able to dip into and the inspiration I have gained from the Stampin up network of demonstrators, websites, blogs, conventions and regional training.
I have learned a heap of new things about products and techniques that I never knew existed, how the products are made, why they do what they do, what's in them .... a seemingly endless list.I have hardly shared a fraction of what I have learned, but then with all things there is no point me telling you something you didnt ask for.
So here is the deal - Ask me a question (by email: nerida_carter@hotmail.com ) or, in the comments section of this blog and the first three questions I answer will be rewarded with a free gift* just to celebrate my twelve months with stamping joy.
It may be a stampset... some Designer series paper, some ink or a marker, or a share of ribbons and brads.

Ask away.....
* Gift offer is open to Australian customers, only.

Coordinated card, envelope and wrap...

The best bit about stamping your own cards is you can always match your wrapping paper and even have a matching envelope.
I love the wild about you stampset ... elephants, birds, crocodiles, giraffe, lion, penguin and a flower for that added touch ... lots of variety for many different children's cards.
Cardstock: Purely pomegranate, pixie pink and whisper white.
Inks: rose red, lavender lace, almost amethyst, tempting turquoise, elegant eggplant.
Stampsets: wild about you, big deal alphabet, floral background, Birthday best.
I did enjoy cutting out the elephants one by one in all the different colours.
