Last days of stamps on the 25% off sale

The stitched with love 25% OFF Sale ENDS Tomorrow! That's Wednesday, 30 November!
Today I held a card making class for 8 children and we used a few of the stamp sets that are on the list. We made a card using just this one stamp set.
We used the snowflake and stars for background stamping in Bermuda bay ink and the sentiment on a 2" (5cm) circle punch.
The Tin of tags stamp set is reduced to $27.75. (16 photopolymer clear stamps)
The silver ribbon is $9.80 for 9.1metres, and the "Every day" washi tape in black and silver is down to $5.60 for 5 rolls.
We also made a tag or two with the ginger bread bundle. If you buy the stamp and punch together you get 10% off the total!
The reindeer set is called Santa's Sleigh it works beautifully with the Candy cane lane designer series patterned paper.
The stampin up store has all the images and prices on sale, or see the list below.

ESAD 2016 holiday catalogue Favourite Products blog hop

Welcome to the Holiday Catalogue "Favourite Products" Blog hop!
The holiday catalogue has been live for a while now, and I have a lot of favourite stamp sets and tools and accessories, it is really hard to choose just one!!!!!
Can I narrow it down to three? Here's a start ...
My latest discovery in the catalogue is the Tin of Tags stamp set and Tin of tags kit!
I spent less than an hour, putting together one set of tags with silver stars, sequins, red tassels and wooden snow flakes and stamping the words: With Love, Surprise, All wrapped up, Joy to the world, and warm wishes on each of the tags.
It was quick and easy, now I am definitely in the Christmas mood... Where's the Christmas carols on CD?
This set has not just words but a snow flake image and a single star and a string of stars. Great for background stamping as I have on this Burmuda Bay card.
And, this is the first time I've used the Natural and silver trim ribbon for a bit of texture and dimension.
I've made up a second version of this card in real red, stamped with the sentiments and snowflake image from the stamp set and added two of the tags.
All wrapped up with love!

A Christmas card file box.

Often I am asked to make a bundle of cards and a box to put them in, to give as a gift or just a way to store a stack of cards on a shelf.
That sent me to my favourite go to place for fabulous ideas - Pinterest!
And I looked and looked until I found the amazing Pootles, who has made a tutorial on this very thing.
So in short, I have cased (copy and share everything) her basic design and am sharing how I made this one.
All you need is a piece of A4 cardstock (this one is Cherry Cobbler). 21 X 29.7 cm.
The long side is scored at 10 cm and 15 cm. Then turn and score
the short side at 3.5 cm and 17.5 cm.
Cut a piece of designer series paper 13.5 cm X 9.5 cm to decoate the front panel.
1. After scoring, fold along all the crease lines and make two cuts up to the 3.5 cm line on either side to form the inside flaps of the base.
2.Trim two corners off from the fold to a point 5cm down each long side.
3. Add tape to the inside of the front panels.
And tape to the outside of the side panels.
4. Fold the back panel up first and adhere the tape.
5. The front panel will close over the outside and give a neat edge.
6. Place the patterned paper onto the front panel and decorate with stamped images on cut Framelits shapes. I've used the just released " Stitched Shapes Framelits" that I just can't put away without thinking of new ways to use them.
Here's a file box I made earlier...
And a close up of the first one I made using Candy Cane lane DSP. (Designer series paper).

Christmas Cards and coffee on a wednesday.

We had a very productive and fun class this morning. What did we make ?
Three cards and a file box to put them in.

We used the "Greetings from Santa" stamp set on a couple of the projects. Which is on sale at 25% off for the month of November. ( $33 reduced to $24.75).

It's a very versatile set with tree, reindeer, Santa's list and star images with lots of useful Christmas greetings.

There's nothing complicated on this white card with layers of simply falling snow. Two colours just the Garden green on the tree stamp and Cherry cobbler on the greeting stamp. With a bow of red bakers twine for balance.
The second card boldly features the Cable knit embossing folder, Presents and pine cones Patterned paper and new Stitched Framelits With an Emerald envy ruched ribbon bow. So easy to tie!
Our third card uses the Christmas specialty paper on page 172 of the Annual catalogue and the reindeer Framelits from Santa's sleigh thinlit dies on page 24 of the Holiday catalogue with some more of that Cherry cobbler bakers twine. The simply falling snow gives this little copper reindeer the textured look that I love so much.

We played with a new set of Framelits that I am a little bit obsessed with!
The Stitched Framelits are a set of circles, ovals and squares with a faux stitched edge they are available through November, returning again we hope in the 2017 June catalogue.

During November, there are nine stampsets on sale at 25% off.
Greetings from Santa is reduced to $24.75
Hang your stocking $27.25
Christmas pines $45.75
Merry Mice $22.50
Tin of tags stamps $27.75
Suite Season $26.25
Oh What fun! $27.25 (p.31 AC)
Baby Bear $33.75 (p.61 AC)
Blooms and Wishes $27.75 (p139 AC)

On stage live in Brisbane on night 3

Sharing what we love, that's what we do best!
And some of us, like to share a meal, have dinner out, and party at night with friends...
And a walk along the waterfront on  Brisbane river to see the pretty lights, the lit up buildings, street performers and night markets.
Some of our group took a ride on the Brisbane Ferris wheel. I took a few photos of them as they flew past

And just in case you weren't certain where we were...

The night life was pretty stunning  too!
We watched the street performers and people swimming late at night at the "beach".
And then we stopped for cocktails at a beachfront bar.

On stage Live Brisbane 2016 - day 3

Day 3 was an amazing huge day so here goes -

There were some fun cards on the display boards. I would have loved one of these to put in my scrap album. ill just have to create my own.

We celebrated these lovely ladies who have been with Stampin' up! for ten years (Linda's right there front and centre).
In the last session of the day the mother daughter team of Shelli and Sara sat down together to create some cards what followed was hilarious as daughter egged mum on, the laughter was infectious...
 Firstly,some cards Shelli demoed.
I won the Super duper stampset in th prize patrol so don't be surprised if you see a copy of this on your birthday!  The embellishments are from another gorgeous kit, yet to be released.
There was gold embossing on black water coloured washes,
And then it was Sara's turn to show us her creations.... and then it was Shelli, then Sara,
who demonstrated a spinner card, that slides not spins... for a boy or girl.
then Shelli... in her normal shabby chic, modern vintage style.

The quote of the afternoon was:
"When you come to a live event you get to see the real Shelli and Sara!"
Shelli's description of the card she made had Sara in fits of giggles, then embarrassment, tears of laughter and then they both lost it.

They collected themselves enough to describe a few more watercolour techniques and a water splashed monster and a fine tip glue green shiny monster.
I think they announced that the next on stage event for us was in Perth and Sydney on 10 April 2017.
We just love when Shelli is on stage, her vibrancy, fun and ability to laugh at her self, she's gorgeous!
At the end of the final session Shelli generously hung out, side stage and chatted with us and posed with us for a photo. What wonderful women they are, We left the Convention on a high.
The final prize patrol?
An all attendee give away to celebrate 10 years in the South Pacific.

My convention begun and ended with a photo in front of the On stage sign in the foyer.
Here we were Saying good bye to the Central Coast demonstrators.
That was the three days of #onstagelive2016 #onstage2016 ... the party continues.
