Another Floral Framelit card

Thank you cards are so few and far between these days.
Most people jot off a quick email or facebook post.
The moment is cherished but then forgotten.
A handmade card arrives as happy mail  and lasts a whole lot longer than a text.
The five framelit dies in this set can layer one on top of each other to make a gorgeous flower card.
The stamping is a coordinating set called "Daydream Medallions" and the centre is a cute little
Thank U stamp from "Pennant Parade".
So here is my Thank you card to all my local customers who place a customer order or host a party this month. All it needs I think is a bow on top.

Floral framelits feeling a little bit blue

Midnight muse stitched satin ribbon is so easy to tie bows with...
I just had to show you this floral framelit card I made in Baja Breeze and Midnight muse colours.
Soft and simple with stamped Daydream medallions and held together with a single silver brad in the centre this one was really simple to make.
Card recipe:
Stamp set: Daydream Medallions
Ink: Midnight Muse, Baja Breeze
Cardstock: Baja breeze, Midnight muse, Island Indigo
Tools: Big shot,
Foral Frames framelit dies
Accessories: Midnight muse stitched satin ribbon
silver brad.

New Floral Frames Framelits

I have a new Big shot die.
Well actually 5 new framelit dies!!!
Five floral frames that fit inside each other and create the most gorgeous flower cards.
Is this a Chistmas card... do you think - reminds me a little of a pointsettia, perhaps?
I have layered the dies, stamped them with the Daydream Medallion stampset that I received at Convention and did a little distressing of the upper most flowers.
Topping it off with a Vintage facetted button with a Rhinestone on top of that!
The framelits work well with a single sheet of cardstock and have no difficulty what so ever cutting through two pieces of cardstock.
Which means you can make a folded edge card and tie it on the fold with a piece of stitched satin ribbon.

Scentsational Season

Here's to wishing you Peace on Earth and a Scent-sational season!
This one started as a CASE of the Peace on Earth card on page 8 of the Holiday catalogue.
I liked the Banner / Flag shape of the stamped panel and I was going to put the Peace on Earth circle in the middle of the Glimmer Paper scallop, but decided I just had to use the gingerbread man which relegated the peace on earth to the bottom right hand side.
Just loving this Designer Series patterned paper - Snow Festival - with the neighbourhood houses, trees and snow flakes from page 10.
It looks really lush layered on top of the Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations paper that I have crumpled and distressed.
My second card is a paired back version using the Christmas tree image within the scalloped circle and a piece of Snow Festival Paper on top of gumball green cardstock.
The background is stamped with Sahara Sand ink on Sahara Sand Cardstock.
I have stamped the Daydream Medallions randomly so they look a tiny bit like snowflakes.
I think the sahara sand cardstock works well with the blues and greens, while the crumb cake card goes better with Cherry Cobbler and reds. What do you think?
