It is November and we have hit the warmer weather here ... just time to be dreaming about snow flakes and glittery christmas cards in my opinion.
On Friday some lovely ladies came to my place and we made a couple of cards together. This was the first one ... Don't you love this combo of colours together?

The tricky bit is the medallion (in old olive) we measured this one as 6.5cm x 6.5cm square. Then punched out the scallops on each edge. The centre square is a snow flake punched from the gorgous baja breeze Ski slope paper. It has a kind of dimensional look. Then I have matted it with a white square scallop punch (looks a bit like a square postage stamp).
And in the centre of the square of DSP (Designer series paper) is a clear Rhinestone brad. Behind the punched out scallop edge is a piece of sticky strip liberally covered with dazzling diamonds glitter - it really shines in the sunlight... difficult to photograph but worth seeing IRL. The greeting is from the snow swirled stampset, embossed with silver embossing powder.
How did I get those ends on the white cardstock? I put the ends diagonally into the square scallop punch!!! Ask me how to get one of these for free!
The piece of baja breeze is also stamped with the snow swirled snow flake stamp in versamark for a watermark effect. I love how this card came out. To make this card you need:
Stampset: Snow swirled.
Cardstock: Riding hood red, chocolate chip, baja breeze, old olive, white.
Designer series paper: Ski slope. Ribbon: chocolate chip stitched grosgrain
Ink: Versamark
Tools and accessories: square scallop punch, scallop edge punch, sticky strip, dazzling diamond glitter, Clear rhinestone brad, silver embossing powder and heat tool.
Below is another card made from the bold bright colours ... Enjoy!
