Butterfly "Best Thoughts" gift cards

I love a simple gift card. Whether its a simple thank you or a "for you" sentiment.
How easy were these cards to whip up?
Lots of white space, a butterfly stamp and splash of colour.
And the gifts?
The gift bag punch board is my go to tool. I can make bags in small medium or large widths as well as any height up to about 30 cm high. They make nice rectangular boxes too!
Add a bit of ribbon, Thank you card and I am ready to celebrate!

By the tide ...

We live twenty minutes from the beach so it's not surprising many of my friends and relatives are into fishing, swimming, surfing and walking along the sand collecting shells.
My friend Jo has a fabulous aquarium in her lounge room and so she didn't have to look far for inspiration for the theme of her card making class.
I have used a decorative mask to sponge the blue green background. I think it resembles the seaweed like the beads of Neptune necklaces that you find at the beach.
This one is a triangular mask that I've sponged in Pool party, Mint Macaron and Soft sky ink, with a touch of wild wasabi. It is almost an ombré technique where the colours blend from light to dark.
Another card using the same stamps came together with the colours crumb cake and Mint Macaron. I've added a piece of twine and some sequins for embellishment, all in the nautical sea side theme.
I've used crumb cake, soft suede and Minrptmacaron inks to create depth on the sandy base of my ocean.
There's also the stamping technique of the acrylic block on there too.

Ronald McDonald house charity stamp - sprinkles of Life

Each year Stampin' Up! brings out an exclusive stamp set, which raises funds for Ronald McDonald house charities.
This year the stamp set is "Sprinkles of Life".
I love that the set has 22 stamps. With words: Happy Birthday, thanks, every cloud has a silver lining, Hope your day stacks up to be one good thing on top of another, that kind of thing...
Isn't it a versatile set? I made this triangle easel card using four stamps from the set.
It has images of Ice cream cones for birthday cards, cupcakes, trees, clouds, apples, a candle and bunches of flowers.
To top it off "with sprinkles" $3 from every sale is donated to RMHC Australia which is used to purchase supplies and food for the families of sick children.
It is a clear mounted photopolymer set which means the stamps need to be used with a clear block.
There is also a matching tree builder punch... I'll show you that next time :)
Enjoy!
