Caravan card ideas

When you need a card for a family leaving on a caravanning holiday ...
and you don't have a caravan stamp?
Pinterest ....
Then let the ideas percolate awhile, as you take a morning walk and this is what I came up with.
I think it would do for a farewell card, a retirement card, happy travels, enjoy your trip kind of card.
I've used my Big shot machine to cut out a large oval and textured it with the brick wall embossing folder.  The door is punched with my Stampin up! Large Oval punch in Night of Navy cardstock and the window is Soft Sky cardstock.
The wheel is cut with two circle punches in white and black card.
The rest of the items are made from paper scraps: Irresistably yours for the blind and flag.
The door handle and blind pull are Pool Party enamel dots.
I've finished my road side scene with some grey sponged road and olive green grass fringed with my sharp paper snips.
Thanks also goes to Wanda for the inspiration and challenge :)

Star of Light and Santa's Sleigh are coming to town

In case you haven't noticed we have a new Seasonal catalogue full of gorgeous new stamp sets and Christmas related embellishments, patterned papers, ribbons, bling and glitter.
I am planning a Christmas launch party and you are welcome to come and try out some new stamp sets, punches and papers.
One of my favourite bundles this year is called "Star of Light" and it comes with star images and a delightful set of Framelits dies. Every year I like to add a new Christmas decoration to my Christmas tree and this one might the one for 2016!
Copper foil bling on one side, silver bling on the other and a set of silver bells on the bakers twine at the bottom.
This year's catalogue has gorgeous new Christmas trinkets and embellishments (24 ginger bread men, holly and bells) plus there are pine cones in copper and 60 silver / red bells in a pack. If you're like me, you only need a small share of 60 bells and 24 pine cones and 24 trinkets, so I have organised a third share of each for just $12.
Email me at nerida_carter@hotmail.com if you'd like to join a share.
My card today is one of the very addictive to make z-fold cards.
I've decorated the base of the card with " Candy cane lane" designer series paper.
When closed you can see the copper foil die cut shapes. The intricate Santa's sleigh, Christmas tree and a couple of copper stars.
I am so impressed with the delicate dies and how easy they are to pop out, using the new slightly thicker big shot platform.
Don't you just love these z cards how they open to reveal a hidden reindeer. I've tied their reins to bows with gold cord held on with glue dots. So handy those little adhesive spots for holding bits together.
Do you Live local to me on the Central Coast? You're welcome to join my catalogue launch.
Check stamping joy on Facebook and come along to my next class.

A Thoughtful branches collection.

Ah the end of winter, always a relief to know that those cold nights are almost at an end.
In the meantime I thought I'd share a collection of cards I've made using the gorgeous "Thoughtful branches" set or bundle.
Firstly a wedding inspired card. Two birds in a white tree on white irrestibly yours embossed paper tied with a silver ribbon on slate grey cardstock.
Now just as a contrast there's this one, using the same products with the help of a sponge brayer in Sweet sugarplum, Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder ink.
How different does it look with a black tree and colour behind.
And then I tried a Christmas tree which could be a great masculine card ( with a different sentiment).
There's a Christmas tree (pine tree) which was crying out for a silver metallic star on top and the new Candy Cane Lane patterned paper.
Here's one I copied from the stampin up! designers then gave it a bit of grunge stamped again on the Irresistably yours paper.
The leaves are die cut and the words are also from the thoughtful branches set.
How simple is this "I hope you feel appreciated" card. A trunk and two layers of tree leaves. I just love crumb cake, Early Espresso and Always artichoke ink colours together.
Two more cards, so different using different colours and different images from this set.
This bundle makes the most gorgeous hydrangea flowers in either white, purple or blue. Can you imagine this in multiple layers and blue purple colours?
My favourite is the double z thank you tree using these gorgeous leaves and Serene scenery patterned paper stack.
 From another angle.
And from above.
There are versatile images and words for thinking of you, thank you, for you, appreciation and Christmas cards, I know I mentioned that!
Don't you love this limited edition stamp bundle? And the good news is that this bundle IS available after August but only WHILE STOCKS LAST!
Send me a text or an email and I will place an order for the stamp set, or the Framelits, or the bundle.
