ESAD BLOGHOP! New Blackberry bliss!

Welcome to my step on the ESAD blog hop!!!!
I  couldn't decide which stamp or product to feature so I have a collection of creations in the new in colour: Black Berry Bliss! - Enjoy.
My first project uses the Choose Happiness stampset. It's a lovely set for layering and collaging.
This is almost a monochrome of Blackberry bliss and white.
I just love the new ribbon and the vintage lace together. Then I've added some glimmer paper flowers. Three of them are coloured with the rich Razzleberry Blendabilities pen.
My second project is this crumb cake card with the Moonlight DSP (designer series paper) stack. Featuring blackberry bliss ribbon.
I have used the new stamp set called "Tap,Tap,Tap".
Can you see that I have coloured my image with a blender pen in Blackberry bliss ink?
The *note* stamp has a piece of patterned paper on it punched with the Banner punch.
It needed some bling I thought, so I just sparkled a few diamantes across the page...
Did you know you CAN use Blendabilities to colour your Rhinestones and buttons too?
Next project is stamped using a gorgeous new set called "Work of Art".
This idea is on Pinterest and You tube (stamp with jodi).
She uses the brush stroke stamp as a petal for this flower.
I actually like the white negative effect created in the centre of the flower, around the yellow circle.
Then the second card I've just stamped more petals cause "more is more" isn't it?
On this I just love the shadow effect of the second generation, stamped off ink around the edges.
Have you guessed - my favourite Incolour this year is Black Berry Bliss? A deep amazingly beautiful purple that can give you dark to light purples all from the one pinky-purple ink pad or marker.
Look how the gradation of colour changes by the fourth generation of stamping off on the same piece of paper. This card is stamped with the wavy lines from "Chalk lines" and the bike is from Life's adventure.
That's it from me today, your next stop on the hop is... Richelle Fletcher at

Wishing you Joy! Thinlit letters.

Did you realise it is less than 22 weeks until Christmas!
I know I didn't have to tell you that but I just had to share my
first Christmas card for the year!
It doesn't use a single Christmas stamp at all if that makes it
any better!
Really I just wanted to show you this cool card design that I
saw at Convention in May.

And then someone posted this tutorial from Susanstamps and I had to show you what I'd made.
http://susanstamps.wordpress.com/2014/06/18/little-letters-thinlits/

I used the letters JOY from the thinlits Little letters and using washi tape i managed to cut the letters
out at the top of the card without cutting them off entirely.
Joy to the world was created with the Alphabet rotary stamp... You can make any phrase you like,
people's names, numbers, sayings. And the glimmer paper stars are punched using
the new Itty Bitty Accents Punches.

Life's Adventure with my new stampin' up! catalogue

Do you have a copy of the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue yet?
Every day that I am home I have set myself to make atleast one card from new products from the catalogue. This card is using a very cute set from the hostess section of the catalogue called Life's Adventure. It features this funny little fox holding an umbrella and it says Everyone has a rainy day!
So true. Not everyday is sunshine and happiness. Its a lovely thought that kind of says I am thinking of you and feel what you are going through.
The Moonlight paper stack has 48 sheets of patterned paper, card front sized and I thought this one particularly suitable. The colour is Lost Lagoon (a 2014-16 in colour) and this beautiful satin ribbon goes wonderfully with it.
Mr fox is stamped with new Memento Black ink and coloured with my latest purchase Blendabilities. There are quite a few how to videos on YouTube. They are alcohol based marker pens that blend beautifully on whisper white paper. I even tried it on water colour paper and they are fabulous on it too. They come in sets of three colours together in a box for $20 in a wide range of great Stampin' Up! colours.
Want to try the blendabilities? we can have a class at your place.
Give me a call or a text on 0468 877 125 and we can organise a class at your place.

Friday's card class

Last Friday, we had a second catalogue launch.
We made three projects: a bag with gift tag, a card using Kinda Eclectic
and a post it note holder using the gorgeous new BlackBerry Bliss In-colour
with the Flamingo Lingo stamp set. ($3 of this stamp set go towards Ronald McDonald
house charity -check out the last page of the catalogue).

I am loving this Flamingo Lingo in pink, in purple, or for a babycard that I made this week.

Thank you Four frames

Today I have been making thank you cards. This one is for a lovely customer to give a little inspiration of what you can do with the four frames stamp set and the decorative label punch.
I have teamed the decorative label with "Bordering Blooms" a new photopolymer set.
And the rose leaves are from "Kinda Eclectic"a great stamp set for collage.
I like these two colours together: Early Espresso and Lost Lagoon.
Four frames p.21 of the Annual catalogue $28.95 clear mounted stamp.
Kinda Eclectic p.164 $34.95 clear mounted.

Bordering Blooms p.162 $27.95 in photopolymer.

Cards for Ronald

It was a busy stamping week this week! One of the hi-lights was creating cards for Ronald MacDonald House Charities with my local stamping team run by Linda Higgins.
We combined cards with chocolate and made over 130 cards to donate to our local Family room at Gosford District Hospital.
Linda designed  3 cards to make and we shared coffees, chocolate, chocolate and strawberries... Yumm!
Best of all we got to know the other ladies in our team: chatting, laughing and crafting together.
Would you like to join our team of Stampers? Get a discount on every purchase? See new catalogues and specials before anyone else?
Give me a call, let's do coffee and discuss what kind of Stampin up demonstrator you want to be. Nerida  M.0468877125

Project life scrap book albums released today

I just wanted to tell you that there are two new Project Life products from the 2014-2015 annual catalogue being released today.

  • Love Story Project Life Accessory Pack (item 135310; p. 189) $16.95
  • Black Faux Leather 12" x 12" Album (item 135292; p. 188) $49.95
  • http://www3.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=135292
This is a 12x12" 3 ring binder album that can fit
    normal 12x12 pages
and also the project life divided pages.

Becky explains, "It's called Project LIFE because it's about YOUR LIFE. Whatever your life is. Whatever your stage of life. Whatever your family circumstances. Whatever your lifestyle. Project Life is designed to help anyone and everyone get their pictures into a book."

In a nutshell, it's all about spending more time making memories and less time scrapbooking them.

What does the fox say?

He says ... "Everyone has a rainy day!"
The cutest little fox don't you think?
I needed a book mark to keep my place in a new book series and this little umbrella holding fox made me smile. He is from "Life's adventure" a brand new hostess stamp set.
This stamp set is a free set, when you purchase (alone or with friends), $300 worth of stampin up product. You receive $50 worth of free credit to purchase anything in the catalogue including several special priced items like this stamp. Blooming with Hope gift card

Such a cool little envelope for: a gift card, a small gift like jewellery or a square note card.
These gorgeous packs are made from Kraft  card stock and each enclosure comes pre-cut and pre-scored. It has little cuts in it to hold a gift card in place.
You can tie it up with a piece of gold coloured twine, probably needed to add a tag to say For you or Happy something.... Oh, and it doesn't come stamped - I did that!
I stamped a brand new Hostess stampset (which you can choose for FREE if you purchase $300 worth of other product). "Bloom with Hope" there are 11 stamps in this set with Happy Birthday and With sympathy sentiments.
OK I know I am leaving the important bit til last aren't I?
I painted the petals with white craft ink using light strokes of a blender pen. A little technique Shelli Gardner demoed on stage at Convention.

Choose happiness with vanilla and Baked Brown sugar

I opened up a new stamp set last night and flicked through the annual catalogue till I came to page177 instant inspiration for a card. It's not the same as the one on that page just my interpretation of it.
Such a cool new stampset "choose happiness" my attention was drawn to it by the amazing Shelli Gardner at convention in May. The idea of cutting the flower out twice and layering the centre on top for dimension. Going to be using this one for lots of occasions I can see.
I've used natural cardstock for the card, very vanilla cardstock for the other bits some retired lace ribbon and the label punch, my sharp paper snips, Baked Brown sugar ink and Choose happiness stampset $30.95 134198 ( in clear mount) p.118 annual catalogue.

Catalogue launch!

Thanks ladies for helping make our catlaogue launch a success.
I had fun and I can see that you all did too!
So many new stamp sets and new tools and ribbons and accessories to show you... And coming to the conclusion that I just can't show you everything in one evening.
Our first card was a blatant showcase of the five new in colours released this month that will be staying with us for the next two years. That fabulous swipe of colour is a stamp from "Work of Art". This is going to be a popular set.
The cute little flower is punched with a new punch.
Our obligatory 3 D project was a post it note holder, made like a matchbook style folder tied with some luscious Blackberry Bliss satin ribbon. So gorgeous to tie in an easy reef knot on the front.
That stampset is Flamingo Lingo and so cute... and patterned paper is Moonlight DsP stack.
Third project showcased was the "Kinda Eclectic" stamps with another piece of moonlight DSP, twine and flowers punched in hello honey cardstock.
Slight variations in colours and embellishments I love how no two cards turned out the sme on our table.
Here's a snapshot of our display table showing some project life scrapbook pages, boxes, cards and decorated notebooks.
Did you like the shaped sequins we used on our flamingo pond?
Forgot to mention that $3 from every Flamingo Lingo stamp set gets donated to Ronald McDonald house charities. Let me know if you want me to demonstrate something like this at your house.
