Now that Winter is over...

Let me show you the Winter ATC (Artist Trading Cards) swaps I received from the Crafters Anonymous group. They mostly feature snowy climates and snow flakes and icicles. Quite a Christmassy theme going on here. Lots of shiny dazzling diamond glitter favoured by some of our New Zealand neighbours.
I like this simple silver on white on white snow flake. Will inspire me to simple Christmas cards this year.
Artist is Dee Sturgeon.
Two of my favourite stampsets: Lovely as a tree, and Welcome Christmas.
Artist: Deb Spiejers.
Watercoloured snowmen and sandy white snow by Artist: Bev Poultney.
I just adore the Cradle Mountain masking and snow flake.
Artist: Rebekah Kaberry, Cradle Mountain, Tasmania.
Very soon, I will show you the Spring ATCs I have made that were posted today.

Winter ATC swap with Crafters Anonymous

An ATC is an Artist Trading Card and they are very collectable ... I often put my name down for an ATC swap as you can make 8 or 10 in very short time and you will receive back a selection of cards with different techniques stamps and ideas. These are my ten swap cards for the Winter ATC group.
My inspiration for winter was the Camelia bush in our front garden.
It puts on a beautiful flowering display right through winter with huge white blooms.
Winter is also naked brown trees and sitting outside in the winter sunshine... when its not raining of course.
The tree is stamped in Early Espresso ink on Naturals Ivory cardstock.
Then I have used champagne shimmer paint sponged with a sponge dauber for the shimmery sparkle when the sun comes out after rain.
Recipe:
Stampset- Pendant Park $27.95 Clear mount $37.95 Wood mount.
Cardstock; Early espresso, Naturals ivory.
Ink: Early espresso, Cherry Cobbler
Punches: itty bitty punches
Accessories: Shimmer paint - champagne, sponge dauber, Pearl jewels, Clear Block D, dimensionals.

Inspired by Autumn Leaves

Inspiration is everywhere ... this is the just newly renovated walkway on our way to the local shops. They've only just laid the new concrete and it's already covered in beautiful Autumn leaves of every colour!
The Autumn leaves inspire me every day to go home and create something that captures the warmth of early Autumn... most days I havent the time, until I had to make an Artist trading card (ATC) for a crafting group I've joined.
I came up with this using Cherry Cobbler cardstock, old Olive, Soft Suede, Early Espresso and pumpkin pie and then I made two more...
Until I had nine or was it ten...
I used the most obvious stampset for this:
"French Folliage" $31.95 clear mount in the Autumn mini, page 20.
To accentuate the leaf I drew in some of the veins of the leaf with Crystal effects. This is a very strong adhesive that dries clear with a hard lacquered finish.
Then, I sent them off to Crafters Anonymous ATCs and received back 9 other ATCs all depicting different stamping and papercrafting techniques, styles and stampsets.
ATC's are the perfect size for putting on to the front of a card as the feature image, or for putting in an album to refer back to when you need some inspiration.
Hope these cards bring you some Autumn inspiration too.
 Enjoy!!!
