Elite Challenges Forest friends ...

Another month has dawned and the latest challenges are up on the Elite Challenges stamp site.

As always there are three challenges: A Colour challenge, A stampset challenge and a Sketch challenge.

The colours to use are: pink passion, kiwi kiss and basic black.

The stampset is Forest friends.

The sketch is from the mini Spring catalogue on page 21.

Because I love to complicate things, or simplify (depends which way you look at it) I mixed the three challenges up to create one card.The little dear is embossed in silver. And mounted on two coloured ovals.

I don't know if the photograph shows it but the black cardstock is embossed with clear embossing powder. Using the Friendly words wheel . . .

The Pink Passion layer of cardstock is simply stamped with the same wheel in versamark ink for a watermark effect. I have also silver embossed the words from the wheel and cut them out as a sentiment.
A word wheel is a very versatile tool: used as borders, backgrounds, scrapbook edging, word sentiments and feature strips on cards as above.Materials I have used:
Stampset: Forest friends , Friendly Words wheel.
Cardstock: Passionate pink, kiwi kiss, basic black and whisper white
Ink: versamark
Other: Kiwi kiss striped ribbon, wide oval punch, Clear and Silver embossing powders.
