French folliage Brown

I have very very good news.
There are about half a dozen items from the summer mini still available to order.
One of my favourites (that you have seen a bit of) is the square lattice embossing folder that I have used above. It has such a deep tactile texture, like tapestry cloth, or cross stitch linen.
Any way its back and you can still order it... yay!!! See the carry over items here.
I have used the Botanical gazette patterned paper (the sheet with butterflies on it) and run it through the big shot machine with the square lattice to get that lovely deep embossing.
Then, I sponged the edges heavily with Soft Suede.
My leaves are rock n' rolled in the ink pads:
Riding hood red, Pumpkin pie, Old Olive and perhaps a light touch with Early Espresso.
It gives a beautiful appearance of the leaves turning from green, through red to brown.
I have stamped them on Sahara sand cardstock then cut them out with my very sharp paper snips.

So as not to cover up too much of the background I put my Happy Birthday sentiment (from Curly Cute $27.95 Clear mounted) on velum and attached it with a vintage brad.
